Dr. Mahdavi has a love for orthopedics and a passion for helping people reach their goals of recovery. Shereen is passionate about helping her patients reach their maximum potential and goals for recovery. She grew up playing soccer, softball, volleyball and dancing which sparked her appreciation for physical therapy. Dr. Alexandra believes in the use of physical therapy to heal as well as promote wellness. She grew up swimming and was always taught that small changes in movement can make a big difference. Applying that as a physical therapist to help others with pain and improve their lives is her passion. She promotes discipline and patient education to continue to use those changes to create a long-term healthy lifestyle and naturally reduce pain. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and attempting to play the guitar.

Mr. Sealy enjoys being through playing sports and other recreational and competitive activities such as CrossFit. After undergoing an orthopedic surgery for rotator cuff, Joe was able to see first-hand how physical therapy can heal and quickly became interested in the process of healing through physical therapy. Soon after a full recovery from shoulder surgery, he enrolled into Houston Community College’s Physical Therapy Assistant program.

He believes many injuries appear to have similar characteristics but each one in unique to the individual. Ultimately, Joe is an advocate for treating the problem, not just the symptoms, by using evidence based interventions. It is with these tools that he has been able to restore our patients to their highest level of functioning.

Haygan’s treatment philosophy is exercise based with emphasis on patent education, restoring normal movement patterns and correcting muscular imbalances so patients are able to return to their daily activities they enjoy. Her passion remains Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Rehabilitation. Haygan is fully committed to improving her patient’s quality of life through knowledge and evidence based practice. Haygan is also a certified Tai Chi instructor for rehabilitation. She uses Tai Chi to enhance physical health, improve posture, balance, flexibility and overall strength. Haygan believes in giving back to her community. She has volunteered for Houston Chevron Marathon on numerous occasions as well as for Houston Aphasia Recovery Center. Outside of work, Haygan enjoys hiking, reading, photography and spending time with her dogs.

Marco is an adamant champion of his patients’ health. He brings his love and knowledge of two disciplines – working previously as a licensed OT and a PTA, to bring about positive health outcomes for all patients he comes across. He is extremely passionate about learning and has worked successfully in various physical rehab environments including in-patients, outpatient and sports facilities, aquatics, and pediatric care centers.

Marco was drawn to a career in physical therapy through a lifetime of activity and playing sports. He plays basketball, volleyball, tennis and loves snowboarding during the winter. In his free time, he enjoys giving back to the community through volunteer work and church ministry. He has worked as Youth Group Ministry coordinator, and sat in Board of Finance and Board of Trustees for a local Houston church.

Dr. Moin played a critical role in developing our way of taking care of patients. Although our life paths have separated us and she has moved to California with her hausband, Kayvan and their son Daniel, she is still part of Paramount family and she will always be missed and her legacy of care and compassion will always be present. The Paramount family wish her all the best in years to come.

Dr. Moin passionately believed that her role in patient care was to remove any obstacle and help accelerate the body’s ability to heal, through physical therapy. Shireen become a mother, which had increased her empathetic and patient nature while allowing her to pay more attention to detail. As an avid exerciser she was a firm believer in maintaining an active lifestyle and incorporation exercise into daily activities. With a background in nutrition, Shireen strived to look at the whole picture with each patient by combining nutrition, mental and physical wellness. Her primary goal for all patients was to design a progressive treatment that ultimately guides the patients to reach their optimal level of function and improve their overall quality of life.
